2016 was a year marked by new achievements and progress for CFRE International and the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential, which remains strong as the only accredited, globally-recognized credential for fundraising professionals.

The number of Certified Fund Raising Executives continues to grow worldwide, over 6000 at 2016 year-end, and our fiscal strength ensures our ongoing investment in CFRE certificants and our mission as we work to bring about a world where philanthropy is practiced in an environment of trust, respect, and accountability.
