Education is a key requirement for both initial CFRE certification and recertification and for many years CFRE International has offered providers of educational programming the opportunity to have their fundraising education approved for CFRE C.E. credits. CFRE International has also provided a listing of Approved Providers who have had educational programmes pre-approved during the year on our website. However, there has never been an opportunity for CFRE certificants and candidates to search for and find information about the individual approved programmes on the CFRE International website. That will change later this summer with the launch of CFRE International’s new Online Calendar of Approved C.E. Programmes!
The new online C.E. Calendar will offer value to both CFRE Approved Providers and the CFRE community by providing specific information about education programme offerings approved for CFRE credit, directly to the CFRE audience of fundraisers in a searchable online format.
CFRE certificants and candidates will be able to search the online C.E. Calendar content based on several programme data points, allowing them to identify available approved education offerings that meet their specific educational needs. Searchable data points will include: programme dates, programme type (i.e. in-person, online, or hybrid), programme location, CFRE knowledge domain/s covered and keywords. Information available about each programme listed will include programme title, dates, programme type (see above), provider name, C.E. points awarded, programme price, and contact information for more information or registration.
* Programme entry to the new CFRE Online C.E. Calendar is now open to all providers of educational programming through the Approved Provider Application form on the CFRE International website. (existing CFRE Approved Providers should use the Login Here link at the top of the page) The updated application form now allows for seamless entry of new programme information for both C.E. approval and inclusion in the C.E. Calendar through one process. Programmes that have already been approved for CFRE C.E. credit through the previous application may also be added to the C.E. calendar through the new application form. CFRE certificants and candidates have let us know about their need for a mechanism to identify and learn about quality continuing education offerings appropriate to their CFRE application or recertification.
