As of January 1, 2025, CFRE International has updated our recertification fees.

While CFRE International has not raised fees since 2015, inflation has risen by 33% (cumulatively) over the last decade. During this period, we have added features to enhance the certificant experience with upgraded technology to streamline the application and audit processes, the My Education Finder tool, resources like the Exam Compass Study Guide and Practice Exam, the CFRE Central online community, and the CFRE Ambassador program.

After careful consideration, and a thorough review of our financial responsibilities and the tools we provide, CFRE International has made the decision to increase the three-year recertification fee.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

New Recertification Fee

• $540 – standard fee (the equivalent of $10 per year over the three-year recertification period)
• $432 – Participating Organization member fee (the equivalent of $8 per year over the three-year recertification period)

Previous Recertification Fee

• $510 – standard fee
• $408 – Participating Organization member fee

We understand that any fee increase may be a concern, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. This fee adjustment is essential to ensure CFRE International can continue to innovate and deliver the high-quality tools and resources that you expect and deserve.
