2015 marked another year of strong growth for CFRE International and the CFRE credential! Overall, the number of professional fundraisers worldwide holding the CFRE credential increased to 5693 as of 31 December 2015, a 4.4% increase over 2014 and a total increase of 7.8% since year-end 2013.

The number of fundraisers seeking initial CFRE certification also continues to climb steadily. In 2015 CFRE International received 791 applications for initial CFRE certification, a second straight year of 10% growth in the number of applications received for initial certification.

The CFRE credential is growing and with it, the positive impact of CFRE International and CFRE certification for fundraisers across the global philanthropic sector.
