Earlier this year CFRE International involved stakeholders representing partner organization leadership, nonprofit academic centers, current Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certificants, and CFRE volunteer leadership in a comprehensive strategic planning process.
The resulting 2016-2019 CFRE International Strategic Priorities, which we are pleased to share today, recognize that the organization and the credential have advanced significantly over the past few years. CFRE International is ready to build on our services to CFRE certificants and candidates and expand our impact across the global philanthropic sector, advancing best practices in ethical fundraising through professional certification as a CFRE.
These priorities incorporate feedback given by CFRE certificants through our annual CFRE certificant surveys and clearly emphasize the continuing importance of our mutually supportive relationships with partner organizations and other stakeholders worldwide.
