The Québec legislature passed Bill 96, which requires all certification exams delivered in Québec to be available in French starting January 1, 2024.

The rules of the CFRE credential’s accreditation require that all study preparation materials must be available in the same language as any language in which the exam is administered.

As the books on the Resource Reading List and other study materials are unavailable in French, we regret that we will only be able to offer the CFRE Exam in Québec in-person and via OnVUE in English through November 30, 2023. This is the last day of the Q4 2023 test window.

October 1, 2023, is the application deadline to sit for the exam in the October 1 – November 30 window.

Candidates in Québec are highly encouraged to take the CFRE Exam before the Q4 test window ends to avoid the cost and travel associated with testing in another province.
