“International Perspectives on Professional Fundraising for Social Change” was the keynote address given by Dr. Darwin Chen at CFRE International’s CEO Asian Reception in Hong Kong. The reception, which was held at the Happy Valley Clubhouse of the Hong Kong Jockey Club on 12 December 2017, brought together CEOs and other leaders of nonprofit organizations, universities, and corporations to highlight the importance of best practices in ethical fundraising to build public trust. “Clearly, wonderful things are happening in fundraising and philanthropy in Hong Kong,” said Eva E. Aldrich, President and CEO of CFRE International. CFRE International Chair-Elect Heather McGinness and Board Member Vincent Law also addressed reception attendees.
