Alexandria, VA, USA – February 9, 2023 – CFRE International proudly announces the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) as its newest Participating Organization and first to join the program in 2023.
UNCF is the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization. To serve youth, the community, and the nation, UNCF supports students’ education and development through scholarships and other programs, supports and strengthens its 37 member colleges and universities, and advocates for the importance of minority education and college readiness.
UNCF supports more than 60,000 students at over 1,100 colleges and universities across the U.S.
As a Participating Organization, UNCF’s Teaching and Learning Center will be recognized as an Approved Provider for CFRE Continuing Education points.
Fundraising staff at UNCF and UNCF-member HBCUs now receive a 20 percent discount on CFRE initial certification and recertification.
CFRE Participating Organizations champion CFRE certification to support fundraising professionals in centering their practice on globally-accepted, ethical best practices.

UNCF joins 30 other current Participating Organizations putting CFRE certification within closer reach of staff and members.
