Habitat for Humanity becomes newest participating organization

Alexandria, VA, USA – November 4, 2019 – CFRE International proudly announces Habitat for Humanity as its newest Participating Organization. Habitat for Humanity has the distinction of becoming the 30th current Participating Organization committed to working together with CFRE International to promote confidence, ethics, and professionalism in fundraising.

Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) Participating Organizations encourage their members and/or staff to attain CFRE certification in pursuit of fundraising at the highest caliber.

“We are pleased to welcome Habitat for Humanity as a CFRE Participating Organization,” said CFRE International President & CEO Eva Aldrich, Ph.D., CAE, (CFRE, 2001-2016). “CFRE International and Habitat for Humanity both value ethical fundraising rooted in best practices. This partnership will help more fundraising professionals earn their CFRE certification so they are better able to serve stakeholders.”

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has been committed to bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope while supporting sustainable and transformative development.

All current Habitat for Humanity development staff are eligible to receive a 20% discount on the cost of CFRE initial certification and recertification.
