4 reasons to submit your CFRE application in 2019

Before the end-of-year roller coaster goes into full swing, scratch something important off your to-do list–submit your CFRE application.

Why now?

  • Use up remaining 2019 professional development funds towards your initial certification fee.
  • Go into 2020 one step closer to becoming a CFRE and enjoying all the benefits that come with certification.
  • Be ready for salary negotiations. Remember, CFREs in Canada and the U.S. earn 3 – 14% more on average than those without the certification (Source: AFP 2019 Benefits and Compensation Report). Submit now so you can become a CFRE in 2020 and be well on your way to being able to boost your earning potential.
  • Points earned in 2014 will expire at the end of 2019. If you are using points earned in 2014 towards your application, they will no longer be valid on January 1, 2020. Don’t lose them!
