Be Prepared: Changes Are Coming to Your My CFRE Account

We are simplifying your My CFRE experience by making it easier to access everything you need to attain and maintain your CFRE credential. Everything you need can easily be found in one place.

Beginning February 10, you will conveniently be able to view your invoices, receipts, application, and more all in your My CFRE account.

Whether you are a current CFRE or working towards initial certification, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your profile and log into the new system for the first time. You will be prompted to set up your new profile, including:

  • Providing demographic information, such as your level of responsibility and the type of organization you work for.
  • Creating a username and password.

11:59 a.m. ET January 27. At 12 p.m. ET, all accounts will go offline.

From 12 p.m. ET January 27 – 11:59 p.m. ET February 9, you will be unable to log into, access, edit, or submit your application.

Yes. All documents currently stored in your account, including PDFs, Word documents, and photos, will not be carried over.

If your application is complete, we highly recommend you submit it prior to 12 p.m. ET January 27. This will ensure you do not need to re-upload any documentation associated with the review and approval of your CFRE application.

If you have met the application requirements, it is highly recommended to submit your application prior to January 27 to avoid extended review times and loss of documents.

We will resume accepting and reviewing applications on February 10 at 10 a.m. ET.

Ensure you have back-up copies of all uploaded files stored somewhere safe that you can easily access (preferably stored on your personal Google Drive or other cloud-based storage system).

No. We highly encourage you to submit your application before January 27 to avoid extended wait times for the review and approval of your application.

During the offline period, you can access open invoices and existing information from Pearson VUE, CFRE International’s testing partner.

However, you can not access any info in your My CFRE account.

If your testing date is scheduled during the offline period, you will sit for your exam as usual.

From January 27 – February 9, no new Pearson VUE profiles can be created. Beginning at 10 a.m. ET February 10, new candidates may sign-up for an exam via the new portal.

Candidates with existing profiles will be able to continue to register, schedule, and take the CFRE Exam during this time. If you are taking an OnVUE exam (Pearson VUE’s platform for testing from your home or office), use the exam launch URL in your exam confirmation email.

The offline period will have a limited impact on candidates who have Pearson VUE profiles.
