CFRE International is pleased to welcome the China Association of Fundraising Professionals (CAFP) as a new Participating Organization. The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding at the China Fundraising Professionals Forum in Shanghai, China, on 8 December 2017.
As a Participating Organization, the China Association of Fundraising Professionals joins 23 other fundraising associations and nonprofit organizations worldwide in their commitment to promoting best practices in ethical fundraising through support and endorsement of the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification.
“It’s been thrilling to see the passion for growing philanthropy and ethical fundraising that clearly exists across Asia today,” says Eva E. Aldrich, President and CEO of CFRE International. “CFRE International is excited to partner with the China Association of Fundraising Professionals as it expands and strengthens fundraising, philanthropy, and the public trust in the charitable sector in China.”
The China Association of Fundraising Professionals (CAFP) was co-founded in 2015 by the Narada Foundation, The One Foundation, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, Dunhe Foundation, CSR Department of Alibaba Group, and Beijing Recende Fundraising Research Center. It is the first membership association dedicated to the promotion of communication and knowledge sharing among fundraising professionals in mainland China.
