All fees must be paid at the time you submit your application.  Payments are made via our secure online payment system built into the application form or by check.  All fees are payable in US Dollars.  Make your cheque or money order payable to CFRE International.

Initial Certification Application and Examination Fee (All Candidates)

$600 (USD) Members of Participating Organisations 

$755 (USD) Individuals Not a Member of a Participating Organisation

This includes:

• application review fee

• In North America, this includes:
• Access to over 300 testing centres in North America
• Testing six (6) days a week in most cases - some centres have evening hours
• No candidate travel costs or overnight stays
• Less time away from family
• More test administrations
• More flexibility for test preparation
• More dates to sit for exam
• Immediate results on passing or failing – no more sleepless nights
• In Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, this includes:
• Periodic testing in major cities several times throughout the year
• Hard copy scores sent to you directly from our testing agency
• Study Planning Guide for the Exam to help you prepare for the exam

 

Individuals who are current members of any of the Participating Organisations may apply to CFRE International at the reduced fee, as a benefit of your professional association’s participation in with CFRE International. 

Membership affiliation must be indicated and will be verified. Individuals who are not members of one of the Participating Organisations or are unaffiliated at this time must pay the non-member rate. 

Membership in any organisation is not a requirement for certification.

If you wish to withdraw your application, you must submit the request in writing and include your full name, address and signature.  A refund of $330 (US) for members of Participating Organisations, or $490 (US) for individuals not members of a Participating Organisation, will be issued.   This applies ONLY during the one (1) year validity of your application for Initial Certification Applicants. If you do not sit for the examination within one (1) year of approval, your application expires and all fees are forfeited.  

If you have already received an Authorisation to Test (ATT) Letter, a cancellation and refund will be issued only following the exam date for which you applied.  ALL requests for cancellations and refunds must be in writing signed by the applicant.

Re-Examination Fee

$260 (USD) Candidates not achieving the required passing score on the examination may re-take the exam for this fee. 

 

Recertification Application Fee

$350 (USD) Members of Participating Organisations 

$440 (USD) Individuals Not a Member of a Participating Organisation   Individuals who are members of any of the Participating Organisations listed on the application and cover of this booklet may apply to CFRE International at the reduced fee, as a benefit of your professional association’s participation with the CFRE International. Individuals who are not members of, or who do not indicated membership with, one of the Participating Organisations or are unaffiliated at this time must pay the non-member rate. 

Membership in any organisation is not required for certification.

Recertification candidates may ONLY withdraw their applications and seek a refund BEFORE their application is reviewed by the CFRE International Board.  If you wish to withdraw your application, you must submit the request in writing and include your full name, address and signature.  A refund of $190 (US) for members of Participating Organisations, or $265 (US) for individuals not members of a Participating Organisation, will be issued.

Once your recertification application has been reviewed, there is no opportunity to withdraw your application.
