Eva E. Aldrich, Ph.D., CAE, (CFRE, 2001-2016)

President and CEO

Eva E. Aldrich is President and CEO of CFRE International, the first globally recognized fundraising credential. Prior to joining CFRE International, Aldrich was Associate Director of Public Service and The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Before that, she was a member of the consulting team at Johnson Grossnickle & Associates and was Assistant Professor of English and Director of the Writing Center at Franklin College. Aldrich has been widely published in fundraising journals and is one of the editors of Achieving Excellence in Fundraising, 3rd Edition, from Jossey-Bass. Paul Cavazos

Certification Manager

Paul Cavazos joined CFRE International in 2012. He answers candidate queries and makes sure the daily operations of certification processing flow smoothly. Tony Colarusso

Senior Director of Operations and Governance

Tony Colarusso joined CFRE International in 2012. He provides assistance on special projects and previously coordinated the CFRE Continuing Education Approved Provider Program on an interim basis. Ashley Gatewood

Communications and Marketing Manager

Ashley Gatewood joined CFRE International in January 2018. Her professional background is concentrated in nonprofits and industry trade associations, including previous experience as the Communications and Events Manager at the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand. Lesley A. Phillips

Certification Director

Lesley Phillips joined CFRE International in October 2015 as Certification Manager and was promoted to Certification Director in October 2018. In this role, Lesley directs the overall CFRE certification program, maintains the program’s ANSI accreditation, and works on other program’s products to further CFRE’s mission. Lesley is also responsible for the data privacy of all CFRE certificants and candidates, and earned the CIPP/E certification in August 2018 to demonstrate dedication to international data protection standards. Lesley came to CFRE International from the National Apartment Association, where she was the Education Institute Manager for Customer Relations. In that role, she administered all education programs, including the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and National Apartment Leasing (NALP) designation programs. Jeff Stanger

Education Resources Manager

Jeff Stanger has served CFRE International in several roles since 2012, including Continuing Education Coordinator, since January 2014. In January 2017 Stanger was named Education Resources Manager. He reviews and manages the course submissions for over 500 approved providers of CFRE Continuing Education Points throughout the world. In addition, Stanger serves on the faculty of The Fund Raising School at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. He is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator on a variety of fundraising topics including social media, annual campaigns, and grant writing. He is also an author and has contributed chapters to Achieving Excellence in Fundraising Volumes III and IV. Prior to joining CFRE International, Stanger served as Development Director for The Salvation Army of Indiana for six years. He has over 18 years of fundraising experience. E-mail Jeff
